About 1706 Farms
A farm built around a single idea: nurturing diversity, building value.
1706 Farms was founded by Olanrewaju Olawale, Managing Director, around the conviction that a Nigerian farm can be both biologically resilient and commercially serious. We diversify our enterprises by design — not by accident — so that every season has a story of production, not just a story of weather.

Our values
Stewardship
We treat soil, animals, capital and people as things we hold in trust — not as inputs to be exhausted.
Discipline
We measure what we manage. Every batch, every feeding, every naira moves through a system.
Diversification
Resilience comes from breadth: poultry, crops, small ruminants, fish and more, run as one farm.
What we farm
Five interlocking enterprises that share land, labour and management discipline.

Value-chain expansion
Our forward plan is to deepen the value chain we already touch — moving from primary production into processing, packaging and direct distribution where the unit economics and food-safety standards justify it. We are actively open to investment, grant and partnership conversations aligned with that direction.
